Varun is a minor character, appearing in Infinity Blade III, being added in v1.4.
Description
Varun receives the title Watcher of Heaven, residing in the Metius Observatory and monitoring Heaven, the name ascribed to the moon, where the Worker of Secrets intended to relocate to during the cleansing of all life on Earth. It is unclear what Varun's role entails, only that he has knowledge of the Worker's plans yet still sought to be present on Earth while the cleansing took place. He also indicates that even in the Worker's absence, there remains a means to cleanse the planet, and to travel to Heaven.
History
Infinity Blade III
Following the Worker's defeat, Siris and Isa find Varun in the Metius Observatory, where he attempted to convince Siris to resume carrying out the Worker's plan. His offer declined, he is then defeated in battle, allowing Siris and Isa to use the observatory.
Gameplay
Varun is a large (dual) titan. He is first encountered at level 700.

Trivia
- Varun's voice in combat is borrowed from Melek. He also uses Melek's taunts when the player is defeated.
- Unlike most large (dual) titans, the theme "Daerils" plays most of the time instead of "High Lord of House Ix" when you fight Varun. "Daerils" is typically played when fighting large (heavy) titans.

- Varun: I saw the Ark finish its journey, and yet the world has not been cleansed. We can still ascend Ausar - we can start the cycle of life over on this world.
- Siris/Isa: The cycle of death, you mean.
- Varun: Death is but an inconvenience to a God.
